Founded in 1805 in Wilanów near Warsaw, the Muzeum Pałacu Króla Jana III is one of the most important museums in Poland. We received the commission for the extraction system from the head of the restoration workshop, Mr Tomasz, who liked the idea of EBS very much, as he had seen a similar system in the workshop of the Louvre Museum in Paris. The challenge in the implementation of this contract was not so much in the area of the extraction itself, but rather in the area of installing the equipment in the historic building and meeting all the regulations that protect this historic building and its contents from potential damage. Our reward was the opportunity to see “nooks and crannies” otherwise inaccessible to the public, including erudite historical interpretation.
